Beach Pictures!

As you can tell, I am behind (once again) on posting!  My time has been taken up with my family and with monogramming projects in the evening!  Plus, add to that a full time job during the day and Willow House Consultant other nights, and I have become a very busy person!  But I love it all!

I am starting on fall clothes for November, including pumpkins, candy corn, and turkeys!  Plus, I love making kids Christmas pjs!  So, it's time to start on those also!

Here are some beach pictures we took in August.  I love these outfits!  I actually had one woman ask me if I ordered these from Kelly's Kids!  If you are familiar with the company, you know how expensive the clothes are, so I laughed when she said that!  If you need some great kids clothes for any season, please contact me!  On average, a pillowcase dress like Hannah is wearing costs about $15, if you supply the fabric and ribbon!

I also managed to get the kids' names on their beach towels before we went!  Check them out!

Catching up... Slowly but Surely!

So I am trying to play catch-up with this blog, hoping to show some of the items that I've done over the summer.

First, I'll start with this great little outfit that my friend bought for her daughter to wear to a wedding.  It was the sweetest thing, and she chose to personalize it with a single initial, which added so much to the outfit!  It was a great idea that I thought turned out so perfect for the occassion!

Back in May, I made these shirts for the kids.  Of Course, Dylan's had to be blue, but he did let me add some red with his start.  The shirts came from Target, and these stars have made them great for Memorial Day, 4th of July, and Labor Day, along with just normal wear when they want to wear their "Star" Shirts!

I'll add more tomorrow!  I'm working on so many projects right now, but I'm going to try to remember to take pictures and post them for you to view as samples of fonts and appliques!

If you need something personalized, please contact me for more information!

Junior League LIT bag

Last Tuesday night, all of the first-year "Leaguers-in-Training" for the Junior League of Lee County received a great bag as a graduation gift!  I thought these bags would look perfect with a monogram!  Here's a picture!  This is actually the first thing that I've done for myself - everything else has been for the kids or someone else!  Enjoy, and for all the other LITs, please let me know if you're interested in having your bag monogrammed.  (I did mine at 3 3/4"-inches high in the same pink as the bottom of the bag.  The cost for that would be $6.75.)
Call or email if you would like to have your bag (or anything else) monogrammed!

(Also, for monogram fonts that I have, check out this link.  http://www.monogram-wizard.com/WizPlusFonts.pdf)

Time to finish up some projects...

So I finally finished up Hannah's dress, after it's been sitting without buttons for the past 3 weeks...
It's an A-line dress, liked with the pink gingham that I used for the crazy daisy.
The applique on the front is the crazy daisy!

Then, I also finished up Dylan's patchwork shorts! They are right in style this summer season, and the fabric is really lightweight, so they'll be great to wear in the hot weather!

Hannah's dress to match Dylan's shorts will be completed shortly, so I'll post it soon!

Sunday, May 2, 2010

Well, I'm finally getting around to posting some pictures.  The outfits were done to coordinate a sister and brother with matching clothes.  The A-line dress is $12 (not including the cost of the monogram.)  The boys shorts are $10.  Both of those costs are assuming that the fabric is provided.  If not, then I'll add in the cost of the fabric.  Enjoy looking, and let me know if you need anything!  I'd love to help keep your kids looking good this summer!

Day 1

Well, it's my first day with the blogging. I just finished some great A-line dresses for a friends' little girl, and some matching shorts for her little boy. They were too cute, and the kids will be styling at Disney World next week. I've taken picture of my past few projects, and they will be up on the site as soon as possible. So keep checking back, and email me if you have any designs in mind for an applique, or if you are ready to have something monogrammed! I'd love to help!
